Bronze Garlic Head Vase with Silver Inlay 17th c.
The silver inlay depicting plum blossom and a verse, which translates as: Breeze passes a vase of plum blossom; a whiff of fragrant flower perfumes the brush and inkstone. There is a signature on the bottom by Shi Sou. He was a late Ming dynasty monk who perfected the art of fine silver wire inlay.
